PrestaShop is powerful but demanding. When a module crashes, the checkout stops working or the version is years behind, we fix it by the hour.
Tell us what is wrong and you will see an hour range and a price range straight away. The estimate binds neither side, it gives you the order of magnitude before you get in touch.
The strength of PrestaShop is how much you can change, and that is exactly why it breaks. When several modules modify the same files, an upgrade reveals every conflict at once.
The same hourly rate for all of them. For larger jobs you always get an estimate first.
The single biggest job in PrestaShop. We go through the modules one by one, replace the incompatible ones and move your customisations into the new structure in staging.
A product page that will not load, a search that returns nothing or an order stuck in a state it never leaves. We find the cause in the logs and fix it.
A broken checkout is the most expensive fault a store can have. We fix payment methods, tax calculation and shipping options and test the whole purchase path.
A theme refresh without rebuilding the store. We focus on the mobile view, product pages and the checkout, because those decide sales.
In PrestaShop, breaches often target the admin folder and payment modules. We clean the store and close the hole they came in through.
From PrestaShop to WooCommerce or Shopify. Products, customers and order history carry over, but module features have to be rebuilt. We tell you which ones.
PrestaShop 1.6 and 1.7 no longer receive security updates. An outdated store still handles payment data, so the risk is not theoretical.
We always start with an assessment and tell you whether an upgrade or a rebuild makes more sense. Either way you get an estimate before we start.
The assessment is free. Work starts only once you have approved the estimate.
You describe the symptoms and give us access. We work out what is going on and give you an estimate. This is free and commits you to nothing.
We take a backup and make the fix in a staging environment whenever that is possible, so your live site is not the test subject.
We fix the fault and test that it stays fixed. We also test the parts the fix could have affected, such as forms and the checkout.
You get a written account of what was done and why. We bill the hours actually spent, not the estimate.
It depends on how many modules there are and how much code has been customised. With few customisations an upgrade is clearly cheaper. If the store is full of overrides, a rebuild can cost less. We tell you which after the assessment, and the assessment is free.
Yes. Products, customers, orders and price lists carry over. What does not carry over automatically is data produced by a module that no longer exists in the new version. We go through those before the upgrade.
It can. We do the upgrade in staging and move it to production during a short break, typically in the evening or at the weekend. Orders are not lost, because the production database is copied only just before the switch.
We do. If the module is from a third party and still supported, we first check whether a fix already exists. If not, we fix it ourselves or find a replacement, and we tell you which one we chose and why.
No. We repair the store where it is. PrestaShop is a heavy platform though, and if the slowness comes from the hosting we will say so. See our pricing.
If you want to try it yourself first, each guide explains the cause and how to fix it.
Fill in the form or send us an email. We respond quickly and tell you what the site would cost. The quote does not commit you to anything.
