Wix is easy to start with but limits what can be changed. We fix what the platform allows and tell you honestly when we hit the limit.
Tell us what is wrong and you will see an hour range and a price range straight away. The estimate binds neither side, it gives you the order of magnitude before you get in touch.
Wix does not fall over with server errors, because the server is not yours. The problems are different. The layout breaks on mobile, the site is slow or an element stops working after an update.
The same hourly rate for all of them. For larger jobs you always get an estimate first.
In Wix the mobile view is a separate view of its own, which is exactly why it breaks so often. We go through the pages on a phone screen and fix the layout page by page.
We compress the images, cut the animations and remove unused apps. In Wix you cannot touch the server, so the work is done in the content.
Titles, descriptions, URL structure and indexing in order. The Wix basics are often left undone, and fixing just those usually brings a visible improvement.
We refresh the look in the Wix editor, or move the site to Wix Studio if the old ADI base will not bend any further. We tell you which makes more sense before we start.
A contact form, a booking or a newsletter working and the messages arriving. We also check that confirmation emails do not end up in spam.
The usual reason to leave Wix is that the platform gets in the way. We rebuild the site in WordPress, move the content and keep the addresses so search visibility survives.
Wix is a closed platform. Not everything can be changed at any price, and that is worth knowing before you pay for work that is not possible.
If your request hits those limits, we say so immediately and suggest moving to WordPress. Then the site is yours and can be moved again later.
The assessment is free. Work starts only once you have approved the estimate.
You describe the symptoms and give us access. We work out what is going on and give you an estimate. This is free and commits you to nothing.
We take a backup and make the fix in a staging environment whenever that is possible, so your live site is not the test subject.
We fix the fault and test that it stays fixed. We also test the parts the fix could have affected, such as forms and the checkout.
You get a written account of what was done and why. We bill the hours actually spent, not the estimate.
The site cannot be exported as a package, because Wix does not allow it. Content, images and structure are moved by hand, but that is routine work and you get a fixed estimate for it. Addresses are kept where possible or redirected, so search visibility is not lost.
The usual causes are uncompressed images, several animations and third party apps. Those can be improved, and load time typically drops noticeably. The server side is out of reach in Wix, so part of the slowness stays with the platform.
We do. Wix Studio is newer and more flexible than the old editor, and responsiveness works better in it. If a site is still on the old ADI base, we often suggest moving to Studio as part of the same job.
We need access to the site, but you can grant it by adding us as a collaborator with our own account. You do not have to hand over your password, and access can be removed at any time.
If the site is a brochure site with no special features, staying on Wix is fine. If you need an online store, integrations or better search visibility, switching is worth it. We give you a recommendation during the assessment. See our pricing.
If you want to try it yourself first, each guide explains the cause and how to fix it.
Fill in the form or send us an email. We respond quickly and tell you what the site would cost. The quote does not commit you to anything.
