Shopify runs the server for you, but the theme, the apps and any custom Liquid code are still yours to look after. Those are what we fix.
Tell us what is wrong and you will see an hour range and a price range straight away. The estimate binds neither side, it gives you the order of magnitude before you get in touch.
In Shopify you cannot break the server, so faults concentrate in the theme, the apps and the code they add. That is good news, because repairs are usually faster than on a self hosted platform.
The same hourly rate for all of them. For larger jobs you always get an estimate first.
From an old Vintage theme to the Online Store 2.0 structure, which gives you sections and blocks on every page. Customisations move with it rather than being redone.
A broken variant picker, a discount that calculates wrong or a page that will not load on mobile. We fix the Liquid code and test in preview before publishing.
Apps cost money every month and slow the store down. We review them, remove what is unused and replace overlapping ones. Leftover code from removed apps is cleaned out of the theme.
A new look without changing platform. We focus on the product page, collections and the checkout, because those decide conversion, not homepage animations.
Speed in Shopify comes down to images, apps and theme scripts. We measure before and after so you can see what the change actually did.
From Shopify to WooCommerce or the other way round. Products, customers and orders carry over, but app features have to be replaced. We tell you which ones up front.
Shopify is a closed platform. Some things are Shopify's to control and no amount of money changes them, and that is better known before a project starts.
If what you want falls outside those limits, we say so immediately and suggest an alternative. Often the alternative is WooCommerce, which makes it a platform migration.
The assessment is free. Work starts only once you have approved the estimate.
You describe the symptoms and give us access. We work out what is going on and give you an estimate. This is free and commits you to nothing.
We take a backup and make the fix in a staging environment whenever that is possible, so your live site is not the test subject.
We fix the fault and test that it stays fixed. We also test the parts the fix could have affected, such as forms and the checkout.
You get a written account of what was done and why. We bill the hours actually spent, not the estimate.
The platform itself cannot be breached the way a self hosted store can, because Shopify runs the server. The risks are elsewhere, in stolen admin credentials, a malicious app or a card skimming script slipped into the theme. Those we check and clean.
Not if you update the theme straight from the admin. That is why we update a copy, move the customisations into the new version and publish only once everything works. The old theme stays available, so a rollback is always possible.
Usually not. In practice Plus is needed only if the checkout structure has to be customised or you need several stores and more advanced automation. We say plainly if your request requires Plus, so no money is spent for nothing.
Often yes. A typical store has two or three apps doing overlapping work, and some features can be moved into the theme with no monthly fee. We review the apps and calculate the saving before removing anything.
A collaborator invite or staff account. We do not need the owner password. Also tell us what is broken and when it started, that speeds up the diagnosis. See our pricing.
If you want to try it yourself first, each guide explains the cause and how to fix it.
Fill in the form or send us an email. We respond quickly and tell you what the site would cost. The quote does not commit you to anything.
