The same faults come back year after year

WordPress itself is stable. Problems almost always come from plugins, the theme or a server environment that has fallen behind. That is why a repair always starts by finding the cause instead of guessing.

  • The white screen of death, a fatal error after the PHP version changed
  • Two plugins that no longer work together after an update
  • WooCommerce checkout, tax calculation or shipping methods failing
  • A bloated database that slows the site down under load
  • No way to log in to the admin panel at all

The six most common WordPress jobs

The same hourly rate for all of them. For larger jobs you always get an estimate first.

Updating to a newer version

An old WordPress, an old PHP version and plugins that no longer work together. We update in staging, check compatibility and move to production only once the site works.

Fixing bugs

A broken form, a page that crashes or a feature that stopped working by itself. We find the cause in the logs and fix it rather than hiding the symptom with a style change.

Visual refresh

The site works but looks dated. We refresh the look in your page builder, whether that is Elementor, Bricks or Gutenberg, without rebuilding the whole site.

Cleaning up a hacked site

WordPress breaches almost always come from an outdated plugin. We remove the malicious code, check the admin accounts and close the hole they came in through.

Website audit

We go through the plugins, the theme, the PHP version, the backups and the security. You get a written report and the order in which things should be fixed.

Moving to another platform

From WordPress to Shopify, from WooCommerce elsewhere or from WordPress to better hosting. We tell you up front what carries over as is and what has to be rebuilt.

We know the tool your site was built with

Most WordPress sites in Finland are built with a page builder. Which one decides how the repair should be done, because the same change is made in a different place with a different tool.

If you do not know what your site was built with, do not worry. We work it out during the assessment, and the assessment is free.

How a WordPress repair runs

The assessment is free. Work starts only once you have approved the estimate.

  1. Assessment

You describe the symptoms and give us access. We work out what is going on and give you an estimate. This is free and commits you to nothing.

  2. Backup and staging

We take a backup and make the fix in a staging environment whenever that is possible, so your live site is not the test subject.

  3. Repair and testing

We fix the fault and test that it stays fixed. We also test the parts the fix could have affected, such as forms and the checkout.

  4. Report and invoice

You get a written account of what was done and why. We bill the hours actually spent, not the estimate.

Frequently asked about WordPress repair

Almost always. We do not jump straight to the latest version but move through intermediate steps in a staging environment. If a plugin has been abandoned entirely, we find a replacement and tell you about it before making the change.

The live site will not. We take a backup and update in staging. Production is updated only once the test works, and if something does go wrong, restoring takes minutes.

Yes. The checkout, tax calculation, shipping and payment methods are the most common jobs. In a store we always test the whole purchase path after a repair, because a broken checkout costs more than the repair does.

We treat it as urgent. Cleanup typically takes 5 to 10 hours and covers removing the malicious code, checking the admin accounts and closing the hole they came in through. Cleaning without hardening leads straight to the next breach.

No. We fix the site where it is. If the problem is caused by the hosting, for example an old PHP version or a memory limit, we will tell you and we can move the site to us free of charge. See our pricing.

We can. A maintenance plan covers updates, backups and security monitoring for a fixed monthly price: 25 € for a brochure site and 50 € for an online store, on top of hosting.
