Migrating services to Nordweb
Migrating your website, domain and email to Nordweb is easy - and we are happy to help at every step.
Migrating the domain
- Log in to your current service provider's control panel and find the domain transfer key (transfer key / EPP code)
- If you cannot find the code yourself, contact your current service provider. They are obliged to provide it.
- Enter the transfer key in the transfer form and send it to us
Migrating the website
- Log in to your current service provider's control panel and download a complete backup of the website (files + database)
- Alternatively, ask your current service provider for a backup
- Upload the file to the transfer form and send it to us
Migrating email
Gather the following information and send it to us:
- The name of the old email server (e.g. mail.oldprovider.fi)
- The old email username (the full email address)
- The old email password
- The new email address you want to use
