Changing the email server in your email program

Changing the email server in your email program

When you move your email to Nordweb, you do not need to delete the old email account from your program. It is enough to change the incoming and outgoing mail server to mail.nordweb.fi. This guide shows you how to make the change in the most common programs.

Nordweb's server settings

Incoming mail (IMAP)mail.nordweb.fi, port 993, SSL/TLS
Outgoing mail (SMTP)mail.nordweb.fi, port 465 (SSL/TLS) or 587 (STARTTLS)
UsernameYour full email address (e.g. name@company.fi)
PasswordYour email account password

Tip

If the messages do not appear immediately, wait a moment - the email program reloads the messages from the server after the change. We recommend the IMAP protocol, so that messages stay stored on the server and available on all your devices.
