Publishing a website to web hosting
This guide walks you through publishing a website on Nordweb's web hosting using the Enhance control panel.
Step 1, log in to the control panel
- Open panel.nordweb.fi in your browser
- Log in with your credentials
Step 2, add a website
- Click Websites → New Website
- Select the domain you want to use
- Select the PHP version (we recommend the latest)
- Click Create
Step 3, upload the files
You can upload your website's files in two ways:
File Manager
- Open the website and click File Manager
- Navigate to the
public_html folder
- Drag and drop the files or use the upload button
FTP/SFTP
- Create an FTP account in the control panel (Websites → FTP)
- Use an FTP program (e.g. FileZilla)
- Connect to the server and upload the files to the
public_html folder
Step 4, check the website
Open the domain in a browser and make sure the website displays correctly. If you use an SSL certificate (recommended), also check the https:// version.
