Managing a VPS server
A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is your own virtual server, where you have full control. From Nordweb's control panel you can monitor and manage your VPS server easily.
Basic VPS server functions
- Start - Starts a stopped server
- Stop - Shuts the server down safely
- Restart - Restarts the server (useful after updates)
Resource monitoring
From the control panel you can see in real time:
- CPU usage - The processor load as a percentage
- RAM usage - Memory usage and the total amount
- Disk space - Used and free storage space
- Network traffic - Inbound and outbound data
When should you contact support?
Contact Nordweb support if:
- The server does not start after a restart
- Resources (CPU/RAM) are constantly over 90% in use
- You need more resources or an operating system update
- You suspect a security problem
