Adding a subdomain

A subdomain is an address under a domain, for example blog.company.fi or shop.company.fi. It can point to the same site or to a completely separate service.

Adding a subdomain in the Enhance panel

1. Log in at panel.nordweb.fi
2. Navigate to the Websites area and select your site
3. Select Domains → Add Domain → Subdomain
4. Enter the name of the subdomain (e.g. blog)
5. Save

Common uses for subdomains

• www.company.fi - The traditional www version
• blog.company.fi - A separate blog
• shop.company.fi - An online store
• support.company.fi - A customer support portal
• dev.company.fi - A development environment
