Registering a domain
Through Nordweb you can register .fi, .com, .net, .org and many other domain names. Registration is fast and the domain is available to you right away.
Registration steps
- Go to nordweb.fi/domain-rekisterointi
- Search for the domain you want in the search field
- Check the domain's availability
- Select the domain you want and add it to the cart
- Fill in your contact details and pay for the order
What do you need?
- The desired domain name (e.g. yritys.fi)
- Contact details (name, address, email)
- For .fi domains a Finnish registrant (a person or a company)
Choosing a good domain
- Keep it short and concise
- Avoid special characters (see Special characters in domain names)
- Favor the .fi ending for Finnish companies
- Check that the name does not infringe on trademarks
