Transferring a domain to Nordweb

Transferring a domain name to Nordweb is easy. All you need is the transfer key (EPP code/auth code) from your current provider.

Transfer steps

1. Get the transfer key - Log in to your current provider's control panel and find the domain name's transfer key (transfer key/EPP code). If you cannot find it, contact your current provider, they are obligated to give it to you.
2. Unlock the transfer lock - Make sure the domain's transfer lock is unlocked in your current provider's panel.
3. Start the transfer - Go to nordweb.fi/domain-siirto and enter the domain name and the transfer key.
4. Confirm the transfer - You will receive a confirmation message by email, approve the transfer.
5. Wait for completion - The transfer usually completes within 1 to 5 days.

Things to note

• The domain must not have been registered or transferred within the last 60 days
• The domain must be valid (not expired)
• During the transfer, the website and email continue to work normally
• The transfer extends the domain's registration period by one year
