The repairs people order from us most

The same hourly rate applies to all of them.

The service covers sites hosted with us

We repair sites that are in Nordweb hosting. That way we reach the server, the logs and the backups immediately instead of waiting for credentials from a third party, and the work starts the same day. If your site is elsewhere, we migrate it to us free of charge and the repair follows.

  • We read the server logs and errors directly, so finding the fault does not burn billable hours
  • We take a backup before every change and can roll back in moments
  • When something breaks, the engineer and the server are behind the same door

Hacked website repair

A browser warning, a Google danger flag or strange content on your pages. We clean the site and stop it happening again.

  • Change the admin, hosting and email passwords
  • Do not delete files, because they show how they got in
  • Take a backup even though the site is infected
  • Write down when you noticed the problem and what appears
  • On a store, check the latest orders and the admin accounts
Website security

Website audit

The best first step when a site has not been maintained for a long time or is changing hands. You see the situation before deciding where the money goes.

  • Updates, accounts, malware and backups
  • Load times, images, caching and server response
  • Indexing, titles, structure and mobile usability
  • Platform and plugin versions and outdated code
  • Forms, checkout, login and tracking

If you order the fixes from us, the audit time is not wasted.

Expert analysis

Things usually handled in the same visit

These are typically ordered alongside a repair. Same hourly rate, same estimate before we start.

Accessibility

The Accessibility Act and WCAG 2.2. Most of the fixes are small.

Analytics

Measurement and goals right the first time. Numbers you can trust, not just a visitor count.

Cookies

Consent that actually controls measurement. The usual mistake is a banner that blocks nothing.

How a repair runs

The assessment is free. Work starts only once you have approved the estimate.

  1. Assessment You describe the symptoms and give us access. We work out what is going on and give you an estimate. This is free and commits you to nothing.
  2. Backup and staging We take a backup and make the fix in a staging environment whenever that is possible, so your live site is not the test subject.
  3. Repair and testing We fix the fault and test that it stays fixed. We also test the parts the fix could have affected, such as forms and the checkout.
  4. Report and invoice You get a written account of what was done and why. We bill the hours actually spent, not the estimate.

The most common faults and how they are fixed

Find your symptom in the list. Each guide explains what causes the fault and how to fix it yourself, if you want to try first.

The questions that always come up

The hourly rate is 60 € + VAT 25.5 %. The minimum charge is one hour, after which work is billed in 15 minute steps. A single bug is typically 1 to 2 hours, cleaning up a hacked site 4 to 8 hours. You get an estimate before we start.
Yes. The repair service is for sites in Nordweb hosting, because that way we reach the server and the backups immediately. If your site is with another provider, we migrate it to us free of charge and repair it after the migration. The migration does not take your site down.
We tell you during the assessment if the fault is not worth fixing, for example when the platform is so old that rebuilding is cheaper. In that case you do not pay for pointless work, you get a recommendation on what to do instead.
We reply the same working day. If the site is completely down or hacked, we take it into work within 24 hours. Both apply on working days. Other work is scheduled together, usually within a few working days. For an urgent start we add 30 % to the rate.
We can. A maintenance plan covers updates, backups and security monitoring at a fixed monthly price, 25 € for a brochure site and 50 € for an online store, on top of hosting.
The address of the site, a description of the problem and admin credentials. If you do not know where the credentials are, we will help you find them.
First try another device and a mobile connection, so you know whether the fault is in the site or in your own connection. If the site is down for everyone, check whether the domain has expired, whether the SSL certificate has run out and whether the hosting has an outage. These explain most cases. If the cause is not clear, send us the address and we will look at it for you.
A white screen means PHP stopped halfway through building the page and the error is not shown to the browser. The most common causes are a plugin or theme update, the memory limit filling up and the hosting PHP version changing. The cause is in the server error log, so no guessing is needed, and the repair is usually an hour of work.
A 500 is the general server error, meaning something crashed but the reason is not passed to the browser. Behind it there is usually a broken .htaccess file, an update that stopped halfway or a plugin that does not work with the PHP version in use. The real cause shows in the error log. If your site is down because of this, we take it into work within 24 hours.
Change the passwords and take a backup of the site as it is, infected and all, because it is needed to work out what happened and how. Do not delete files yourself: that destroys the evidence while leaving the way in open. We clean the site, close the route that was used and ask Google to remove the warning.
A backup is always taken before anything is changed, and it is kept for the whole job. Larger changes are made in a separate staging environment, so the public site stays untouched until the change is finished and checked. If something goes wrong, restoring takes minutes.
We can. A broken checkout is always urgent, because every hour is lost revenue. We test the fix with a real order through to payment confirmation rather than simply checking that the page loads. We repair WooCommerce, Shopify and PrestaShop.
